Uh oh. Get your I hate NY shirts out. On SNY TV in New York, newly hated "Giant" Chris Canty was asked the question "Do you think Tony Romo is overrated?" To which he replied, "no comment". Now I think this is all about adding more fuel to the flames of the Dallas-NY rivalry, I understand that. But I also see how he might be a little pissed at the Cowboys for giving him a re-up on a deal. Oh and he loves him some T.O. He referred to Owens as a "scapegoat" and said that Owens was not the problem in the locker room. Hrmm I wonder why they are both gone now...
Oh and he is either really stupid or blinded by his new found loyalty to his NY teammates. On this same show he was asked who was better Justin Tuck or Demarcus Ware. Of course he said...WHAT?! Tuck is better than the player who should have won Defensive Player of the Year Ware? H-o-l-y Shitballs, lets go to the stats:
Ware: 84 Total Tackles, 9 For Loss. 20 Sacks. 6 Forced Fumbles.
Tuck: 67 TT, 10 FL. 12 Sacks. 3 FF.
In all fairness to Justin Tuck, he had a solid if not spectacular year. But the year Ware put up is one for the ages, arguably the best year for a LB in Cowboys history. Not a fair comparison but the one eyed monster does have a new team and he gots to show respect.
