The Matrix returns tonight, looking to give Dallas a boost after sitting out the last three games. (AP Photo/Tim Sharp)The Dallas Morning News reported this earlier today, Shawn Marion will be back in the lineup tonight for the Dallas Mavericks. He will get the start after missing the last three games, all Mavericks wins, due to a strained left oblique muscle.
The Mavericks take on the Los Angeles Clippers tonight (9:30 p.m. on Fox Sports Southwest and NBA) which is a good tune up for Marion to test out the oblique before the start of the playoffs. It's a good sign for the Mavs as they can now get some time on the court with all of their main playoff-contributors to build continuity with only two games left before playoff-time.
Oh, and they have likely missed his 12 points, six rebounds and lock-down defense they've been without for the past week.
