Sinking Ship - Cowboys Fall 24-21

The Dallas Cowboys (1-4) will not make the playoffs. They are simply too stupid.

So far this season the Cowboys have provided exhibits A, B, C, D, E and so on as to how mentally inept they are as a team. Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings (2-3) was no different as Dallas blundered it's way to two turnovers and 11 penalties in the backbreaking loss.

"We beat ourselves one more time," wide receiver Roy Williams said. "How many times are we going to do it?"

That becomes a very valid question as many fans are asking themselves the same question: how many losses will Dallas rack up this season? A top-10 pick's worth, maybe even top-5?

Only five teams out of 97 in the last 20 years (since the NFL adopted the wild card playoff format in 1990) have made the playoffs after starting the season 1-4. That's a 5.2 percent ratio that the team picked to play the first home game in Super Bowl history will even make it into the postseason.

As someone who watched the torture that was Sunday's game, I'm asking myself a pressing question: will I ever get those three hours of my life back?
